Privacy policy
Last updated October 3, 2026 (adds sign-in accounts)
CaseFill is built so your case stays on your device. This page says exactly what is stored, where, and what leaves it.
What stays in your browser
Everything you put into CaseFill: forms, case details, names, addresses, financial figures, documents, exhibits and saved PDFs. It is kept in your browser's own storage (local storage and IndexedDB) on the device you are using. Your account (below) doesn't include any of it, and no CaseFill server receives your case information. We can't see it, and we can't recover it if it's deleted.
Your account
Using the CaseFill app on casefill.org requires a free account. When you sign in we keep:
- Your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google;
- How you signed in (Google or email link), when your account was created, and when you last signed in.
That's all. We don't receive your Google password, contacts or files; Google shares only your name, email address and whether the email is verified. To send email sign-in links we use Resend, an email delivery service, which receives your email address and the message. Sign-in records are stored with Cloudflare, our host. We don't sell or share account information, and we use it only to let you sign in and to contact you about your account or important changes to CaseFill.
To delete your account, email support@casefill.org from the address on the account. We'll delete it within 30 days. Deleting your account doesn't touch case files on your devices; erase those with the steps below.
What leaves your browser
- On casefill.org: nothing you enter into your case, only the email you sign in with. The site's code and fonts are served from casefill.org itself; links such as Get form open the court's own website. Our host, Cloudflare, handles the ordinary technical information any website request carries, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site.
- Inside Claude (claude.ai): two optional features send something to Claude when you click them. Extract with Claude sends the text you choose; Read with Claude sends images of a scanned paper's pages. That use is covered by Anthropic's privacy policy. Nothing else leaves the browser.
Cookies, analytics and ads
CaseFill sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in for up to 30 days (and a second, short-lived one during Google sign-in). It runs no analytics or tracking and shows no ads. It stores your work in your browser only so the app can function. If that changes, this policy will be updated first and you'll be asked where the law requires it.
Deleting your information
Open About & privacy in CaseFill and choose Delete all CaseFill data in this browser, or clear this site's data in your browser settings. Either removes everything CaseFill stored on that device. You can also choose Sign out and erase case data on this device from the account menu, which is the right choice on a shared or public computer. This can't be undone.
Children
CaseFill is meant for adults. Family cases often include information about children; that information stays on your device like everything else.
Changes
We'll update this page when anything changes; the date at the top shows the latest version.
